The Space
This is a modern 3-bedroom semi-detached house at Southside of Glasgow. Very close to the local amenity including a 24hrs ASDA supermarket. It is just a few minutes walk from Hampden Park – National Stadium.
Guest Access
Guests will have access to a fully equipped modern kitchen facility including a washing machine and a dinning area. There is a level gardens at the back and plenty of rooms in the lounge for you to chill out after a long day out! There is also complimentary wifi, tv, fresh bed linens, towels and all typical home goods you’d expect to see in your own home. Parking on the driveway is also available at no extra cost!
The Neighbourhood
The neighbourhood is quiet and mostly are family home.
Getting Around
You get free parking on site (on the driveway) and there are also a few guest parking slots based on first come first serve basis. The house is just over 3 miles from the heart of Glasgow, it takes approximately 15mins by car and 20mins on the bus! The house is very easy to commute with good public transport links and easy access to M74 motorway. Edinburgh, Stirling, Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park are all within 1 hour drive!
House Rules
Check-in is after 4PM
Nobody wants to feel like they’re in boarding school while they’re on holiday, so there are very few house rules that are simple to follow and are in place so that the next guests can feel as welcome as you did – the rest is just common sense.
1) The house is strictly non-smoking and unsuitable for pets:
– Smoking out of the window, in the kitchen or with the front door open is still smoking in the house and will incur a £150 cleaning fee.
2) The house is shoe-free:
– I have two young kids like to crawl about the house, please be kind to the carpets and leave your shoes at the entrance hallway. If you would like to use foot wear you are welcome to wear your house slippers or let me know and I will provide some for you.
3) Double shower curtain
– My bathroom is carpeted and has no windows to ventilate. There is also a recess/shelving next to the bath area, so please be kind to keep it and the carpet floor as dry as possible by using the double shower curtains provided. I have also left you some cloth on the radiator for you to dry the wall especially the sealant behind the shower where is not covered by the shower curtains.
4) If you’d like to use the microwave, please make sure you cover your food by using the microveable plate cover provided to avoid food splashes inside the microwave. I thought this is a common sense but some guests just not got that sense and make the cleaning job very difficult. The general cleaning after use should apply to the cooker and oven too.
5) No PARTYING is allowed in this house.
All in all is I would ask you treat the place like it’s your own home and be respectful. Thank you very much.
